She writes for some magazines, surfing sites, a book of chronicles devoted to surf, trains and competes, and organizes events. She has a brand of extreme sports TV channel online, is part of Surfrider Foundation and also part of a surfing community in Portugal. She has won several awards (national and international) of writing and entrepreneurship related to surfing.

Having grown up in the small coastal area of the Coromandel Peninsula NZ, community has always been a key factor in her life. Cass strives on keeping that spirit alive.
Now based on the Gold Coast, Cassandra has been incorporating her passions and sharing her experiences by producing and presenting videos, writing, photography and getting involved with local events.

Kayte has a Bachelor of Health and Science (indigenous health and community development) from the University of Sydney, Graduate diploma in Education from Southern Cross University, and a mater of Education (TESOL and literacy) from Wollongong University.
