Interview with Bahgsu Jewels creator Maggie Orli
Maggie Orli is a traveling, silversmithing, gypsy gal with bright eyes for nature. In 2008, she started Bahgsu Jewels and has been crafting one of a kind adornments ever since. Bahgsu’s aesthetic is very much entwined with a respect for wild, natural forces and the products of those processes, specifically raw stones and crystals. Maggie’s passion for showcasing the many million-years old works of nature is obvious in her jewels. There is something anciently feminine about adornment with nature; Maggie plays into this magic and has made a living sharing it with other women.

Like many surfers I feel like it is my personal obligation to look after and respect the Worlds oceans and seas because it is my playground. Sylvia Earle is truly an inspiration to the whole of humankind, man, woman, child…she is fighting to save our planet and is known as the 'Ambassador for the World's Oceans'.
